Scanning tickets

The gate scanner is optimized for mobile devices:

1. Scan a QR code on the attendee’s ticket or pass
2. The system validates:
   • QR signature authenticity
   • Whether the ticket belongs to today’s event (or within the scan window)
   • Access point / gate match
   • Whether the ticket has already been scanned
3. A clear valid / invalid result is displayed
4. Manual entry — Type a ticket ID if scanning fails

Each scan records: timestamp, operator name, device ID, and gate location.

Season pass scanning

• Scan a season pass to record attendance for the current event
• The pass is not consumed — it can be scanned at every event
• One scan per pass per event is enforced

Access points

Configure multiple gate entry points at your venue. Ticket levels can be restricted to specific access points so holders enter through the correct gate.

Scan window

By default, scanning is restricted to a time window around the event start time. Super Admins can enable all-day scanning in Settings to remove this restriction.
